I felt like my children were a number here instead of patients.

We saw Dr Acosta and my son loved her. He is nervous around new people but she helped him feel relaxed by singing to him and talking to him about Thomas the Tank. She sang songs to him throughout the entire exam and was very professional, courteous, and kind. My only complaint is that the front desk staff is kind of snooty and abrupt, but we will definitely be visiting Dr. Acosta again.

My 3 girls have seen Dr. Acosta at Dr. Camps' office. They absolutely love her! My one daughter needed a mini root canal and she had NO pain at all. Her first experience having any work done and no fear at all.

My son (now 20) and daughter (17) have gone to Dr. Camps since their first dental visits at age 2. We have been extremely pleased with Dr. Camps' professional services. His office has grown tremendously since our first visits, but I still find some of the same staff - and the same warm, customer service from some 20 yrs ago.

Dr. Camps pediatric dentist office is a very efficient office. I have never waited in the wating room for longer than 2 minutes (if that). It is a very well organized and friendly staff. My 6 year old ,as well as my 2 year old, both look forward to going to the dentist and sitting in the dentist's chair for their cleanings. They where cool sunshades and watch cartoons on TVs that are stationed at each chair. Excellent place for children!

Dr. Camps and his staff treated our family and our family very poorly. After discussing methods of treatment and going over extensively how our then 2 year old would be treated during her procedure, they completely changed their approached, were demeaning and did not hold to what we had asked in our daughters treatment. They tried to "blame" us for our daughter dental problem (saying it was her nursing that caused her teeth to deteriorate) even though much research had recently come out about her specific issue that supported nursing and showing that her condition was one that was formed before birth. They were condescending, and dismissive. They did not allow us to be with our daughter in recovery and when we were able to figure out which room she was in, she was lying by herself crying coming out of her general anesthesia. IT was absolutely the most horrific medical experience I have ever experienced. I will say the work they did was fine and we had no problems as far as our daughters teeth. I would not recommend them, and after speaking to several people I found they felt they were treated poorly and that if any questions were raised regarding their treatment suggestions the Drs were almost hostile!

I took my 6 month old daughter in when I saw yellow spots in the enamel of her front teeth. The dentist advised that this was just a developmental error from inutero and advised that just continue care as usual. Six months later her father took her for a follow-up and she was diagnosed with Caries and recommended for surgery with full anesthesia for a cleaning and capping. We went to several other dentists following this recommendation and they each agreed that it was a developmental error from inutero and advised that just continue care as usual. Short story - these doctors are not beyond reproach. Always seek a second opinion before undergoing any drastic procedure like surgery.

My 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son have gone to Dr. Camps for three years and have been very happy with him. He's very sensitive to their needs and is always pleasant. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.
