We attended our appointment. We were told that our child would be sedated and that she would feel nothing. Several minutes later we heard a child screaming our child was not sedated what so ever. Our child was completely awake during two fillings. Upon entering the room during the procedure three adults were on top of her restraining her. The procedure should not have proceeded since our child was wide awake and having this procedure completed.We were/are outraged.We paid several hundred dollars up front for this appointment and for the sedation.By the end of the appointment, I was feeling that perhaps, Ishould now be sedated.I cannot stress enough the unprofessional/unethical behavior of this practice .since that time, we have had a horrible time getting our child back to being comfortable with her regular dentist. Our child once loved getting her teeth cleaned, she now experiences severe anxiety when just getting her teeth cleaned. This was a horrific experience for all of us. While in the waiting room another child who had previously been to dr.moran sat screaming and terrified even after she was brought into the exam room. I felt something wrong at that time and should have gone with my gut feeling and left.
