The evaluation with the actual doctor was ok. We didn't get to go to our actual treatment appointment because I needed to reschedule with confirmation call 24h prior do to insurance delay. They gave me 2 options: To come to my appointment and pay out of pocket $1700 or cancel my appointment and I am banned to come to the office for 3 years.

About Front Desk: Bad experience with them, rude and no understanding for my insurance situation.

I love him great office wonderful staff and great with children. He is great with all children I have personally witnessed him with children that are very young and children with special needs all of which were treated with great respect. I would recommend this dentist to anyone with children.

My child has an extremely high pain tolerance, and very seldom cries or even winces in pain, even when bleeding. During treatment, my child was screaming and crying in pain. Dr. Gordon said "I know it doesn't hurt". I know that it did hurt, badly. The rest of the procedures were going to be rescheduled for another time, and it was recommended that my child be administered sedative medication before beginning treatment (not covered by ins). Subsequently, we went to a different pediatric dentist and had a wonderfully pain free and pleasant experience. I did, however, find Dr. Gordon's staff very nice.

Not the best bedside manner. First thing he told me was that my 2 1/2 yr old was going to need braces :( I don't believe him. He did get my son to stop using his pacifier, but I think that's more due to my son being a pretty cooperative kid. Front desk seems nice and the hygienist was also nice. Dr. Gordon was snippy to the receptionist in front of me, which made me feel uncomfortable. Office is outdated, looks kind of dirty. Have not used him for anything other than routine cleaning two times, but will probably switch due to lack of being impressed and distance from my house.
