My dentist referred me to Dr. Treitler for periodontal treatment, and I could not be happier. My mouth feels great, I healed easily, and I only wish I had done this months earlier rather than putting up with the occasional bleeding gums and pain that went along with my condition. Dr. Treitler is easy to talk to, he understood my concerns and fears, and tried his best to put me at ease as my treatment progressed. I recommend him very highly for anyone who needs periodontal treatment.

Dr. Treitler has been amazing. My dentist in Buffalo Grove sent me to him about 10 years ago saying he's the best periodontist.. I'm deathly afraid of shots and needed gum grafting. Dr. Treitler was very professional and reassuring, and patiently answered all of my questions (and there were many)! When he did the procedure, he constantly checked to make sure I was o.k., and I barely even felt the shots! He was very gentle, and I did not feel a thing during the procedure. When I went back to my dentist, he was very happy with the results. My dentist told me to continue to go to Dr. Treitler for periodic check-ups and cleanings. I actually think his hygienists do a better job at deep cleanings than a regular dentist office. I know I need some surgery on one area at some point soon, and I am not worried at all. Dr. Treitler is nice, professional, comforting, gentle, and his work is great! He's the best around, and I've actually heard that from a couple of other people in conversation (and one of them is actually a dentist)! I would definitely recommend Dr. Treitler to anyone for periodontal work. Oh, and also, whenever I go there, he gives me samples of products that help prevent periodontal problems.

Dr. Treitler is the best, he comes highly recommended by friends, and I can understand why. I could tell immediately that he enjoys his profession, and takes pride in his work. His calm demeanor puts me at ease, he explains all treatments in terms that even I could understand, and what more could I expect when faced with surgery. I am so impressed and happy with my treatment and results, that I am going to “pay it forward” and highly recommend Dr. Treitler to anyone reading this review. I recently experienced a periodontal crisis that required immediate treatment. My referral to Dr. Stanley Treitler was the answer to my problems with a professional diagnosis, and immediate treatment for a gum infection which was caused by an anchor tooth of a three tooth bridge fracturing. My condition required periodontal treatment, removal of the fractured tooth, and the necessity for dental implants. Dr. Treitler’s professional care provided me with a sense of calm for an otherwise uncomfortable surgery. Surgery was relatively pain free, and I owe Dr. Treitler a world of thanks for his gentle care, genuine concern, professionalism through every procedure, and his ability as a cutting edge periodontist. I would recommend Dr. Treitler to my entire familty and my network of friends, and I appreciate all that he has done for me while being in his care.

Had gum recession surgery. Chose Dr. Treitler because of good reviews and was covered by insurance. Felt assured of his skills going into and during procedure, but now, not so sure. Three months after my surgery, I am in more pain now than ever before surgery. Graft doesn't look professional and neat; this confirmed by my dentist. Want to get a second opinion, but that will cost more. Dr. Treitler had me return several times, but didn't have much of a solution. Office staff was cordial.

Dr. Treitler was recommended to me by my dentist. I was scared to death about the procedure, as I am with regards to any procedure in the mouth area. He was wonderful! He is not only a very skilled surgeon/doctor, but has a truly caring nature (as in 'it comes naturally to him') and it shows. I highly recommend him to future patients!

I had a gum graft by Dr. Treitler in March, 2008 and was very impressed not only with his surgical skill but with his chairside manner. I elected to do a significant procedure under local, rather than general, anesthesia and he was extremely gentle and considerate in how he tried to ensure my comfort throughout the the surgery. I'm about a month post-surgery now and seem to be doing great.

Dr. Treitler really cares about his patients. I was recommended to him by my dentist and very apprehensive about treatment.
He took time to speak with me and answer all my questions with genuine concern for my well being.
Dr. Treitler is very skilled and you will be in good hands when he treats you.
His office staff, especially Sara, is awesome!
