She cares for her patients, there is never any problem with my insurance or co-pays and it is immaculately clean. She is knowledgeable and current.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lender for about 10 years. She is an outstanding advisor on periodontal health. I arrived with some gum disease problems that could easily have become serious tooth retention challenges. Her gentle but thorough touch made the scaling procedure as painless as I think would be practical. Further, and probably equally important she helped me learn how to better care for my teeth and gums. I regularly use H2O2, floss, and waterpick. The result has been much healthier gums and even though I had deep pockets, I was able to avoid surgery for many years. She takes the time to explain options, takes care and pride in her work, and provides you the best guidance for avoiding complications that could come from poor home care.

About Hygienist: Dr Lender apparently screens her hygienists fairly carefully. At first she seemed to have different staff pretty regularly. Now her hygienist staff seem to be reliable and very good. Dr. Lender sometimes does cleanings herself, just to be sure she sees exactly how the home care is progressing. She isn't insulting about it, but she will coach you if she finds you aren't doing the right kinds of home care. Clearly she is one of the best in terms of a professional who cares about her patients and tries to provide the very best service.

I have been seeing Dr. Lender for approximately the last 12 years. When I began seeing her, my periodontal health was "less than optimum". With her help and guidance, as well as her coordination with my general dentist, my gums are healthy. One scaling and one minor surgery in all that time. She is absolutely the best ... AND I love her dry humor and wit ... it makes the visits "enjoyable"!!! ... "is that OK to say about a visit to the dentist?" (-;

I have had periodontal problems for years. The problems require periodic care every 3 to 4 months. After being under Dr. Lender's care for a couple of years, I have for the first time ever had repeated visits with no bleeding, additional scraping or other additional work. My mouth is healthier than ever which is due not only to dilligent care provided by Dr. Lender, but also the additional time taken to educate and advise on techniques and equipment to let me do a better job of keeping my mouth healthy. The care becomes increasingly expensive, but worth it in my opinion. My wife has always been afraid of dentists. She had serious dental problems which she neglected because of this fear. I consulted with Dr. Lender on the best way to get her to change her ways. Even though Dr. Lender is not a general dentist, she took her as a patient and by building trust and confidence convinced her to get the help she needed from a recommended general dentist. She too has the best oral health in nearly 30 years. In addition to excellent, well-qualified care, the office staff is friendly and accomodating. If they only had better music it would be great.
