Dr. Mausner has been my dentist for almost 10 years and I adore her--her bedside manner, her philosophy of treatment, her results. I came to her with really messed up teeth, courtesy of an incompetent dentist, and she took care of everything. She's not an oral surgeon, but she sent me to a very good one when I needed that. I think there's been a nice balance of treatment and "keeping an eye" on things without resorting to the drill.
This office is on Central Park South and feels a little old world, so I'm not sure it falls into the categories of 'like a health spa' or 'like a 5-star hotel' but it's posh in an old-money way and the patients are treated with real personal knowledge and respect. The receptionist knows who you are, Dr. Mausner knows who you are. I have always felt totatally comfortable in her hands.
