The Front desk lady is the most obnoxious, arrogant, argumentative and vary unhelpful. If you miss your appointment even for legitimate reason when you talk to the office manager, she makes you feel like a criminal. If you are 5 mins late you are in trouble. If you are on time, there is no guarantee that you will be taken on time. She has the worst attitude I have ever seen. This is a no-no if you dealing with patients. She is probably the reason why many people are turned off and are not likely to go to Dr. Colwell. But She is not the only reason to not go to this Office. Dr. Colwell is the worst Dentist I have ever gone to. He said I needed $2,000 of work done, when I went to a different dentist and told him what Dr. Colwell wanted to get done the dentist said that I had nothing wrong with my teeth at all. I personally have never had one issue in my mouth and was vary upset that he was trying to take advantage of my insurance Maximum!

About Hygienist: They where wonderful.

Chair-side manner is actually good. He makes one feel confortable and relaxed. He is personable. He is reluctant to replace a 20 year-old crown for me, which I find odd since the existing crown is literally falling apart. We discuss it at every checkup. It is causing me some pain, so it's a puzzle to me that he isn't going ahead and scheduling the procedure. This leads me to wonder about his confidence. So I am going elsewhere to have the work done. Prices are high.

The office was clean and the people, including Dr. Colwell, were very nice. He didn't have a protocol like raising your hand if it hurt. But he made sure not to hurt. Still it would have been reassuring. He doesn't wear a mask and I heard him cough in the other room, and once when he entered my room. He was friendly and explained what he was doing at each step which destressed me. He was telling jokes to his assistant while he was working on me which either means he is so confident that it's no big deal or that he doesn't focus on his work. Besides the mask, the only thing I really didn't like was that he seemed overbooked: he did one step, left for 20 minutes, came back and did the next step, left again for half an hour, and then came back and finished. I would have much rather have done one step and then come back another day. The waiting is probably the most stressful because you don't know for sure what's coming next.
