I've only had cleanings and x-rays done. The place is dumpy, no magazines and hard wooden chairs in the waiting area. Worst yet, the last 2 visits I waited 3 HOURS just for cleanings! They always want to take x-rays, so I avoid it unless they see a cavity. The Dentist always has a blue-tooth in his ear, which is ridiculous to me, and I don't want to have his attention diverted if he's working on me. He's a little rough as he pulls on my mouth with his large hands, so I'm going elsewhere to get my cavity filled. Their new receptionist has a bit of an attitude.

About Hygienist: Hygienists seem to be good.

My dental insurance stinks but this dentist worked with me and was extremly reasonable. I had lots of work done over the years including root canal and crowns and service was always top notch with great results. For the root canal he had a specialist come in to do the work and it was pain free. For the crown he took the time to explain my options and worked closly with the lab to get the right shade and fit. Everyone was real friendly in the office from the office staff to the dentist.

About Hygienist: there are a few that work in the office, some are more gentle than others but got a thorough cleaning.

This office is a mill. Hygienists cycle through patients in four rooms, and the doctor sits at the front desk until being called in at the last minute to look at x-rays for 30 seconds and tell you what treatment you need. He's rude, creepy, and much worse, won't explain why he's ordering certain treatments. When I asked him to show me on the x-ray why I needed a root canal, he just handed it to me the whole card of all my teeth and said, exasperated, "Just look at it, it's right there!" (with no explanation at all -- not even pointing out which x-ray was the tooth in question). The flip-top lid to the garbage can in my exam room was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Covered with goo and dust and who knows what else. Save your precious insurance allowances and go elsewhere to begin with -- you're going to want a second opinion on anything Tenenbaum says anyway.

Jeffrey Tenenbaum gave me a horrendous fear of dentists! If you like being tortured, he's your man!
