I visited Dr. Schmoll in Houston. My friend had recommended him for many years and I regret not going sooner. His top priority is saving your natural teeth. My dentist in the suburbs had recommended that I get 4 crowns replaced, and so I met with Dr. Schmoll for his opinion. Dr. Schmoll did not think I needed to get any crowns replaced at this time. I had called his office earlier, and learned Dr. Schmoll's price for crown replacement was less the half of what my suburban dentist was asking. I inquired about whitening. He suggested I try over the counter treatment first as he was not sure my tetracycline stained teeth would respond to whitening and he did not want me to get professional whitening with him and not get results. He is very concerned about the patient and does not try to over sell. My only regret is not going to Dr. Schmoll sooner. I would have retained many of my natural teeth if I had. He is very caring. He is also a very interesting person. His hobby is photography and he has some of his work hanging in his office. The offices are very nice and would be an easy drive for someone living inside the loop or Galleria area. I traveled from The Woodlands. Dr. Schmoll has integrity.
I will be returning.
About Front Desk: Very friendly.
About Hygienist: I did not get my teeth cleaned but Dr. Schmoll was kind enough to remove some build up even though I had recently had my teeth cleaned with my former suburban dentist office.

had regular cleanings and one root canal. very good dentist. as painless as going to the dentist could be, and always very friendly.

About Hygienist: dr. schmoll is the only doctor in the office, he does the cleanings and everything else. very professional.

He does not have a hygienist so he does the cleanings. He was able to get my crowns to stay on while other dentists could not.

This Guy is Great! My name is Mike, I moved to Houston around 3 years ago. I have a job that provides dental benefits and the first dentist I was recommended by the benefits company was horrible(scare tactics, refused to clean my teeth unless I paid for the deep cleaning which was $1000+). Dr Schmoll however I found doing a google search and I can't be more pleased. His waiting room is quiet Lori the lady behind the desk is fantastic(calls to remind you of your appointment, knows who you are when you call. Dr Schmoll is a awesome guy. He is great at his work and a very personable guy. He is super smart and will have your smile in tip top shape. In my 26 years I have never had a dentist this good.

He is a great dentist! I went to another dentist for years and I had no idea that going to the dentist didnt have to be painful. I have actually dozed off and that is with no gas or anything! Many friends and family have changed over to him and everyone loves him. Greatest Dentist.
