I went to have my upper teeth extracted so that I could have partials, it was scheduled for October 1st, they said on that day that my medicade wouldnt approve it, later that day they called and said it was approved and scheduled me for November 1st. He extracted several upper teeth, not knowing to me that he didnt remove all the portions of each tooth, I was in extreme pain and when I called all I was told was that they would get back to me. They never did so I called back and his office was closed, I left a message expressing my disguist and he then called and threathened me. It is now 12/29/2012 and I am still unhealed and have parts of these teeth poking through and causing me pain. He did a terrible job and his bed side mannor is very unprofessional. I still need work done and am very fearful to go back to hime. He also extracted two teeth that were infected.

About Front Desk: His staff seem nice and professional until after I called in extreme pain.

Dr. Potee has provided many oral surgeries for all of our family members, including one very complicated surgery. We have been extremely pleased with every service we've received and would not consider any other local oral surgeons.

Three days after surgery after I stopped taking pain meds, I found a big blood clot stuck to one of my teeth. Worried I had a dry socket I called the office & was told not to worry, it's completely normal to lose the clot (so wrong). The next morning I had my first post-op appointment, he examined & rinsed the sockets. Later that day horrible pain began, the pain meds didn't help, so I called & spoke to him about it. He said yes, he knew I had a dry socket that morning but never said anything. He said there wasn't anything he could do for it & all I could do was wait for it to heal. Fortunately, I'm personal friends with an oral surgeon in another state & asked for his advice. He was shocked a doctor would turn away someone in pain & said I should have them packed with a dressing with Eugenol & 10% of patients need it. I called Potee back to request this & he reluctantly agreed. When I got to his office he said the dressing wouldn't help & would probably fall out immediately. After he put the dressing in, I said I was feeling better & his story changed to: I knew it would help, you'll feel better in no time & that dressing isn't going to fall out. What??? Clueless!
