Nice doctor, quick and efficient. But I am going to have treatment somewhere else as he recommended metal crowns, which I don't want.

Dr. Calvin Nguyen rushed through my exam and filling was not attentive seemed like he just wanted to get the patient in and out horrible office beware do not come to this office.

I am 65 and moved for the first time at 45 and the second time at 52. Dentists have been a continual problem after the first move until I found Calvin about 10 years ago. He does everything for me including 4 caps which give me no problem at all. Calvin does not push me at all with respect to excessive x-rays or reconstruction. I go to him 2-3 times per year and all is well. I trust him all the way. Thank you Calvin.

Dr. Nguyen replaced some old fillings and filed down my front tooth. He was training the hygenist while working on me; he was very patient and knowledgeable. He also walked me through my procedures, telling me the steps along the way. He gave me options and his opinion on anethesia. He has a great manners with staff and patients. I had great results and very little pain.
The office staff is great, very friendly and effecient, letting me know the cost of my procedures ahead of time. I'm new to the area and very happy to find a great dental office.

I will make separate review of Dr. Nguyen and the entire practice that he shares with at least two other dentists.
Re Dr. Nguyen: He had a pleasant and friendly manner and his treatment was successful. Overall, he seems to be a very competent dentist. Only very minor negative comment I have about Dr Nguyen is that he recommended more aggressive schedule for treatments that would not be covered by my insurance. However, he may have been recommending such options because he really believes that I need them, regardless of the insurance aspect.
Re the Practice: I have a less favorable opinion about the entire practice. I received a treatment without realizing that it would not be covered by my insurance. The administrative staff never brought up the fact that the treatment was not covered. I only realized it only when I received an unpaid bill. My wife saw the other dentist in the same practice and he kept pushing her to have more expensive optional treatment done. When my wife brought up the insurance aspect, he was very dismissive about it as if she should not be so concerned about it. I will let her post a separate review of this other dentist.
