Dr. Shields has been my dentist for about 5 years and his office is great. He redid all my front teeth from the bad work I had done years ago. I can't tell you what a difference it made for me! I feel so much better about myself. His prices are reasonable as I had shopped around before coming here. His staff is really friendly and his office is nice. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone!

The facility was run down and dingy looking. Don't even remember the doctor, that was how great he was. Whatever they use to take x-rays was the most pain I have ever encountered and it took FOREVER to get them taken. Try biting a coke bottle in between your teeth and holding it ten different ways. When I booked the appt. I had informed the office staff that I had to change dentists since my dental insurance changed and he didn't accept it. Instead of them asking for me to get my records sent over so that they would know I had already had x-rays done in the three year period allotted by the insurance I had to foot the bill since the ins. company wouldn't cover it. I am not in the habit of changing dentists so I was unaware of the protocol on records and the transferring of them. A good office staff would of taken care of me and informed me instead of trying to get more money from the insurance company by having extra procedures done.

About Hygienist: Don't know who I had, but I have never hurt that much during or afterwards. The water, air-pick thing felt like she was putting paper cuts into my gums around every tooth. Excruciating device. I am a 35 year old patient without one cavity so don't think I don't take care of my teeth and that is why I had to under go so much work. Most dentists laugh that all I have to do is wave hi at my appt.s because my teeth are so healthy.
