I was very nervous moving to a new area and selecting all new doctors, etc. After having a teeth cleaning there was mention of possible gum repair. I was referred to Dr. Niver to have gum surgery, I was so scared. Dr. Niver comforted my fears with his knowledge of this procedure, plus his great personality. I was confident I would have the best treatment.
I did have the best treatment and the best results with the work Dr. Niver performed. I had to pace myself, as this is not the easiest surgery to have, so I scheduled my surgery every 6 months for healing purposes. I need at least 2 more surgeries. I called to reschedule for this year. I was devistate to find out Dr. Niver is no longer in the bay area. I am prepared to travel to his new location in Encino. He is just that good. He makes you feel like the most important patient, and for good reason, good results.
I miss you Dr. Niver. I hope you come back to the bay area, in the meantime, I am looking to schdule an appointment, if possible, and stay with family for healing process. You are the best!

I went to Dr.Niver needing gum ruduction surgery when he was a 3 year resident at UCSF. I a on disability and Dr. Niver helped me get Medi-Cal approval for the procedure which would have cost me 3,000.00 out of pocket. due to cutbacks I don't think the procedure is covered anymore. I got in just before the law changed in 2009.
Dr Niver did the surgery in several visits and there was no pain. The procedure was a success and now I take care of me teeth and gums. Dr Niver helped save my teeth which without his surgery would all eventually been lost. I do love corn on the cob. Since I don't have the gum disease anymore my breath is much better
I highly recomend Dr Eric Niver for your general dentistry needs as I see that is what he practices now
