I had a very pleasant dental visit at Dr. Janof's office. I was courteously greeted by his front desk receptionist. I was treated by his hygienist who was professional and very informative. I then had an exam with Dr. Janof . This was a very good experience overall.
About Hygienist: The hygienist spent a good amount of time with me and I feel the cleaning was very thorough.

I went to Dr Janof only a couple of times but I did not feel comfortable because often he is the only one there and I think there is something wrong with a doctor being alone with a patient. He does have a receptionist/hygienist but she's not there all the time. I have never seen many patients (which makes me wonder about his practice) and the dentist talks way too much! I get the sense also that he wants to talk and not listen. Needless to say, I did not return. I recommend Dr Steven Salomon also on Ocean Ave in Brooklyn.
