For starters, his office is not credited by the Better Business Bureau. His staff is very rude and not helpful. His assistants are unprofessional and careless. Dr. Schmidt treats his nurses like his servants. He is mean to everyone. I had a deep cavity that would have been just fine with a filling. He insisted that I get a onlay. He started working on the filling, broke off a piece of my tooth that looked like a perfectly white, normal piece of tooth because that was so much "decay" on it and told me that now I had to get an onlay. I over heard his nurse say "this is that second time in a month that he does this..." right before she walked out of the office and quit. The office turned into a whispering crowd. In the mean time, I had blood in my mouth and waited while another nurse stepped in. This onlay was not properly done and I ended up switching to a new dentist who had to do a root canal to correct Dr. Schmidt's mistake. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dentist. Dr. Schmidt will just over charge you and do a very bad job.

Coming here was one of the worst experiences of my life. Dr Schmidtt permanently ruined my front teeth by doing cosmetic work that he was not clearly not trained to do thus I ended up getting an infection in one of the teeth which then needed a root canal which of course also failed. I eventually had to switch dentist to save my teeth. Dr schmidtt is rude and his goal seemed to be to get as much money out of me as he could. Its been 3 years since I left that surgery and it still gives me chills thinking about that whole experience. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone.

Watch out for Dr. Schmidt's office. He seems to do a lot of unnecessary work. He told me I needed about $2000 worth of work (which he would "discount" to "only" about $1200). I got a second opinion, and was told that the work was probably not needed. I found out after the fact, that others had the very same experience... in some cases not having figured it out until AFTER all the work had already been done!

I left the office in more (and new) pain and $2500 poorer. My original problem was not solved, and new ones were added.
Dr. Schmidt was rude to his dental assistant as well.
