A horrible experience, sat there for so long and the anesthetic did not work. Would not come here again.

About Front Desk: I was told I would not owe anything for my cleaning and then I paid a large amount out of pocket for my root canal. But I still received a bill saying my insurance did not pay what they said and I even have an EOB stating they could only charge a certain amount.

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: A girl named Mona or Monette cleaned my teeth. She was nice but did a horrible job a cleaning my teeth. It felt like she just brushed it and was done.

Hygiene time: 35

My Experience: Root Canal

I have been to this office multiple times over the years to get routine cleanings and x-rays. I will first say that driving up to the office is a different feeling as the office is huge when thinking about a dentist office. When you walk in they have 2 sides, one for the kids and one for the adults with a play area with video games and computer area for the kids and a computer area for the adults and a flat screen TV in the reception area. Dr. Snider comes in on each visit to check up on my progress and to make sure there are no concerns from me or my family. I have had to get injections 1 time for a deep cleaning and I will be the first one to say I hate needles and shots and was very nervous to get the injections but he was very very easy about them and I can honestly say I did not feel the injections when he did them and that is a big plus. I have read one review about them overcharging but I don't see how they did, as my insurance covered the cleanings at 100% so I don't know if their insurance was not as good or what. I recommend Lake Country Dental to my family and anyone I know who needs dental work or is looking for a new office so rest assured they are here to help in your dental needs.

About Hygienist: The hygienist I saw was Kristi and she was very polite and helpful when I first went there and they have been very good at keeping my appointments with her on repeat visits.

Dr. Snider prepped my back molar for repair and then left the work to be completed by his 2 female assistants. The entire time they "worked" on my tooth they discussed how other dentists' they worked for would not allow them to do the dental work. The girls had difficulty with the tooth but never called Dr. Snider or informed him of the difficulty though they discussed MY mouth as if I were only a face with no EARS! The procedure took them 4 hours to complete! By the time I left the office my jaw was killing me. I paid over $1,500 to see a dentist who had no concern for me. I called the office the next day and told the receptionist the pain I had in my jaw, along with having a very rough feel of the "finished" tooth. I also told her to inform Dr. Snider that I would NEVER be a patient of 'his' again. Dr. Snider began calling me repeatedly. He told me that it is "ethical" for him to have assistants finish the work and it was not against medical protocol. He asked me to come back and allow HIM to fix the tooth. I refused. I have since gone to another dentist who cares about his patients.

About Hygienist: Sorry, I can't remember her name, but I really liked her. She was caring, thorough, and made me feel like my appointment was important to her. My biggest regret with the bad dental experience is losing her.
