Best Dentist I've ever been to! He not only cared about my comfort level, he made sure I didn't experience any pain during the lengthy procedure! Dr. Picone is so experienced that he took on a job another dentist was not too optimistic about doing. And the end result was a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth! It's not only how a dentist makes you feel while going through the procedures, it's also how that dentist makes you feel AFTER your procedure is done. Dr. Picone is awesome! Make him YOUR dentist! You'll be glad you did! Especially if you are looking for virtually pain free dentistry! (I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to pain lol ) And he made it a breeze! OH! And his staff was so nice!

I visited this dentist for a consultation to put a treatment plan together and get some work done -- and I was very disappointed. He did not want to provide me with any treatment recommendation, and was very chaotic and evasive. He would not tell me, in a professional manner, what procedures he wanted to do or what cost. His x-ray machine is very outdated. He takes old film x-rays, which have higher radiation than the digital x-rays used by other offices --- and they don't show as much information. Another dentist told me his x-rays were "crap." Having compared digital to Dr. Picone's 1950's film - I have to agree. He suggested I pull a tooth, which I think is very unwise recommendation. I had a root canal and I am saving the tooth. Pulling it should have never been an option. His hygienist did a cleaning, and when I went to another office 2 weeks later -- they couldn't tell I had a cleaning done. I had to do it over. The desk staff is inefficient and rude. And not that professional. I would not recommend this dentist. He seems friendly as a person, if unprofessional and chaotic as a dentist --- but my advice would be to go elsewhere --- if even based on the office's equipment/technology alone.
