This practice is absolutely wonderful, and I can't praise them enough. I have had very bad teeth and gums, and visited many different dentists over the years, so I am a very good judge. Though I still dislike visiting a dentist, Dr. MacInnes and his staff have made it so much easier for me. Now I don't dread getting dental work done anymore! They do everything they can to make me comfortable, and they are very caring and gentle. This dental office is the best!

About Front Desk: They are very courteous, professional, and patient in answering all my questions. Very helpful and friendly.

I would first like to start out by pointing out the fact that my previous review has somehow been removed in addition to other negative reviews that were previously here. My experience with this office and dentist has been nothing short of horrific, primarily due toone experience in particular. I had visited this office on several occasions without incident which is why the one and final experience there was so disappointing. I can only chalk it up to the conveyor belt of patients and the fact that the dentist was running late a dinner due to the mishap caused by his dental molds/fittings gal. I will skip through the initial details other than I was there for a follow up appointment to have a cap that was previously molded to be placed on the crown. While the dentist was attending to 1 of his other 4-5 patients, his dental assistant (I believe Ellie) was in the process of placing the cap on my crown. By the time the dentist came back, the cement on the cap dried fairly quickly. He then proceeded to inspect the cap and how it fit. His response to Ellie was "you could drive a mac truck in between that gap". This is because the mold taken was not an accurate impression of my teeth and tooth of which the cap was being formed. At this point, the next step was to try to remove the cap that was now firmly cemented to my crown. The method of removal used was essentially pliers and pulling on the cap for an extended period of time. In between breaks, there was constant scarping at my gums and at the root of my tooth in an attempt to scrape away the cement. Neither of these two actions removed the cap. Please keep in mind that the dentist was frustrated because he was late to dinner and because his assistant clearly dropped the ball. The final method used was a procedure called "flapping". Needless to say, I have never heard of this procedure until that moment. I soon came to learn that flapping consists of a scalpel cutting into your gum (basically and incision) down to the root of your tooth. This was then followed by my gum being "flapped" over to expose the root of my tooth. Why? So that the dentist could have a better vantage point as he continued to scrape away the cement that had now dried. This was over the course of two hours while Ellie helped keep my mouth open while yanking on my cheek. Keep in mind, I went in for a routine procedure to have a cap placed and then leave. My visit resulted in over 2.5 hours and a lifetime memory that I will never forget. To add insult to injury, I was actually billed for this nightmare. Years later, I am now in the process of going to another local dentist that will need to redo this work resulting in additional money being paid for something that should have been done correctly the first time. I am not a person that normally posts reviews, however due to the nature of this experience, I feel compelled that everyone and anyone thinking of going to this dentist thinks twice.

this guy is all about his bottom line... he likes to hire people that don't have a clue or who are just out of school so he can pay them the very least. this dental office will charge you the most they can and give you the least you deserve. his wife is a dentist aswell and she should not be she will do a very shitty job on you and try to tell you it was your fault your crown didn't work wake people please consider another dentist and save your teeth

I've been going to Dr. MacInnes for over 6 years, and all of my visits have been wonderful. Unfortunately for me, I have really bad teeth, and had to have a bunch of treatments such as root canal, crowns, fillings, and etc. Given the amount of work that I needed, I had to research to get the best price, and found that the cost here is competitive and even better than some of the other places, which is surprising because the practice looks so luxurious and high tech. Anyway, I am a happy patient and would highly recommend this dentist.

Looking at my rating above, you will understand my issue and comments. The office is definitely luxurious, and the web site extremely slick. The customer service, surprisingly, is not up to the same standard. The treatment I am sure is good, although scheduling multiple visits was something I had to work to avoid. The problem is simply the access to the wallet. All of the above glitz and glamour comes out of your wallet. They attempt to bill you there and then. Strange coincidence that my treatment proposal (after I gave the insurance before my visit) came to within 10% of my annual benefit. They billed me (and foolishly I paid) my deductible as I left the office. Now they want more money. And a repeat visit in 4 months. WARNING: simply put, too expensive. If you have the money or insurance to pay for this glitz and glamour, then you will have a luxurious dental treatment. If you have to pay deductibles and have insurance limitations, then you will pay through the nose. I would never recommend this dentist. I have withdrawn my entire family from this organization.

I got fillings, wisdom tooth extracted among other services. The facility is one of the nicest I've ever seen. Their staff is very friendly and professional. However the most important thing was his honesty on letting us know what is needed and what is better for the long and short term.
