Went to Dr.Olson initially for veneers prior to wedding. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted (I just knew I needed to fix an overlapping front tooth) and I wanted them done in time for my wedding, so I now wish I'd done them a little differently (shape wise), but Dr.Olson was fantastic and so was everyone in his office. 4 years later I've had no problems with my veneers and no regrets about leaving my old dentist (who was also very good) to start coming to Dr.Olsons office for cleanings. I had considered some other Dr's (in and around DC) for my veneers but found his prices to be most reasonable compared to the other dentists I was considering (other highly credentialed/reputable/high-end dental offices). He also didn't try to upsell me (I only wanted my 4 top front teeth done - some other dentists insisted I needed 6-8 top front teeth done). His office is really plush and everything is new and state of the art. His staff is efficient, organized and professional - AND very nice! His services are a little pricey though. I have dental insurance - but it only usually covers 1/2 of what he charges. Yet I still travel all the way to Waldorf from Silver Spring to his office for dental visits.
About Hygienist: His hygienist cleaned my teeth so thoroughly prior to placing my veneers that I left my regular dentist that I had been going to for years to start going to Dr.Olson for cleanings (which is a 45 minute drive from my house!) Completely worth it though. I go to the dentist faithfully every 6 months b/c I don't brush or floss as often as I should. I've been to a couple different hygienists since I started going to Dr.Olson and they are all GREAT. They will get every single speck of dirt off of your teeth. My teeth have never been so clean!
