I saw Dr. Pouso for an exam and xrays. After a pano and 4 BWs were taken, the Dr. discovered that I needed a root canal. She was able to fit me in that instant because there was a cancellation. The Dr. was sweet, gentle, informative, and very approacheable. I learned more about root canals and how age affects patients' nerve pain level. The older someone is, the smaller the pulp, the less pain. The root canal was completed without any complications. I was only numbed up with Septocaine, and didn't feel any discomfort- no need for nitrous or anything extra. I got a temporary fill on the tooth for now. The procedure took less than an hour, which is great for a molar RTC. The cost wasn't bad. Root canals aren't cheap, but necessary sometimes. The office was spotless and very technologically advanced. I truly felt like I was receiving the best treatment possible. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. If you are going to see a dentist- absolutely see this dentist before anyone else. The best dental experience, hands down.

About Front Desk: Dawn greeted me when I arrived. She was courteous and polite. Gave me some paperwork to fill out and some water. Pooja helped me with insurance and billing. She went over my insurance with me and explained how benefits go in detail and setup a great payment plan for me. I got advice on what to get done and when to do it to maximize my insurance benefits. She was also very friendly and interesting. I wasn't bored for a second. Overall- I highly recommend this office. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. It felt like a spa. I was treated with kindess and respect. I can't wait for my next visit :)

About Hygienist: Kristy took the xrays and did my cleaning. She was also very friendly and sweet. A lot of offices have hygienists who just sit there and clean in silence. She was talkative, interesting, and entertaining. Made the cleaning time enjoyable, which can be very difficult to do. Everything was done in less than an hour, which is good timing. As I already mentioned, the office was super clean, but here is more- I actually saw the hygienist sanitize the operatory after I left, and she did a good job. The cleaning was gentle and thorough.

This was my first visit at Dr. Pouse’s office. I went in for my 6-month cleaning. After the hygienist prepped me, Dr. Pouse came in and performed a throughout examination. Unfortunately, I had three cavities but luckily, Dr. Pouse had time to treat me so I don’t have to come back for another appointment. Dr. Pouse made sure that I understand the process and my financial obligation. Overall, I am so glad to have confidence and trust in my dentist.

About Front Desk: Dr. Pouso has an excellent team. The front desk, Ms. Pooja was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding my insurance benefits. She gave me correct information regarding my coverage. Furthermore, before my visit, she consulted me to request my xrays from my previous dentist because they were recently taken. This little advice saved some money in my annual allowance.

About Hygienist: It was one of the best teeth cleaning. The hygienist, Ms. Danielle was meticulous and informative which I really appreciated.

Her office is not called Wall Street Dental Spa for nothing. When you walk in you're greeted by friendly smiling staff, candle light and soft relaxing music. Dr. Pouso is very calm and friendly, definitely attributes that I look for in a dentist to help me stay calm. I just had 2 root canals by their specialist and I didn't know that root canals could be pain free! I will see Dr. Pouso again for crown work.

About Front Desk: Very friendly, and professional. They take the time to explain insurance coverage and fees throughly. Their follow up is fantastic, reminders are by email, phone, text--your preference; it's great! I've even made appointments and gotten information about my treatments via email which makes working with their office so easy.

Root Canal, Xrays. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I am afraid of dentists and they made me feel very relaxed.

In all my years of seeing dentists, I must say Dr. Pouso is the best Dr. & person that I've seen. My entire family now goes to Dr. Pouso. Not only did I feel at ease, but I felt that I was getting the best patient care. Dr. Pouso took the time to explain each option. She did all my veneers and I finally got that smile that a wanted for years.

Dr. Pouso was excellent. I came in thinking that I had an infection in my mouth surrounding some wisdom teeth. I thought that I was going to need emergency surgery to have them taken out. I was a mess. I am petrified of the dentist. She did an excellent job calming me down and assuring me that everything was going to be ok.
