STAY AWAY! Hargrove called himself "filling 3 cavities" and readjusting my bite, without my consent my I add. I have not been able to chew on the left side of my mouth for the past 3 months!

He removed two molars of mine and subsequently I got dry socket and was writhing in pain over the weekend until I could see him on Monday. The vicodin (sp?) that he prescribed didn't even touch the pain. He irrigated the sockets and stuffed a clove gauze down there without any numbing ointment or anything to anesthetize the area. OMG! Tears were streaming down my face and he had no bedside manners at all. Rough and tumble without any tenderness. When it was all said and done, what he did worked and I feel better...but with the pain I was in I needed something to numb the area before he worked on it!

I had a chipped tooth - Dr. Hargrove did a temporary crown which came off repeatedly. He was unavailable to reglue it on because of his own drama with his divorce. I was referred to another dentist who was supposedly handling his patients at n/c. (Not the case - I had to pay out of pocket 2x for regluing & another crown to be made.) Promised I would be reimbursed, never happened & my insurance said it was Dr.Hargrove's responsibility. When I attempted to get reimbursed in person, I was pulled into his consult room where Dr. Hargrove grabbed my arm and verbally threatened me. Prior to the crowns coming off, he showed me the studio in the back of his office where he does 'erotic photography' - showed me pictures that were repulsive & inappropriate to show a patient. The work he did has subsequently had to be redone (not covered by insurance - they told me to go back to him - I preferred to pay out of pocket than have that man touch me again) I do not remember the amount I paid vs insurance, but I paid an additional out of pocket in excess of $400 for crown regluing & replacement & $1500 for new crown with another doctor.

Dr Hargrove's work was extremely painful. I literally had a panic attack in his chair it was so frightful. His services are expensive. Instead of filling cavities, he suggests putting crowns in your mouth. He performed one crown on a tooth of mine that my insurance refused to pay for, b/c I didn't need it done. I literally had to come out of pocket $700. Then, he suggested that i need 3 more crowns that would cost nearly $1200, and I decided to take my business elsewhere. I went to another area dentist, who was absolutely wonderful & honest. He exclaimed, "YOU DO NOT NEED ANY CROWNS!" 3 painless fillings later, my mouth is in perfect condition!

Nice place, over priced, and rough with my teeth. Seemed as though they were more interested in making money and charging as much as possile for as many procedures as possible, than actually improving my dental health.

Visited Doctor for Invisiline in 2003. He recommended that I first replace a missing tooth which was a wrong suggestion. Never completed the implant process which was pre-paid via my Flex-spending plan. Due to misreperesentaion and wrong information, I cancelled the treatment plan and case is now in courts. I now found a good Orthodonist, Paul Yurfest. Please beware of such crooks and make sure you understand what your treatment plans exactly are. And ofcourse keep your receipts!
