The doctor is a sweet and kind person and knew her job quite well. She tried not to rush me however she had more patients in the other rooms so I felt she was rushing to give all of us her time.
I had some teeth filling performed and can say that the service felt top-notch with the newest technology in use. She made the whole session relatively painless and was very focussed once she started working on my teeth. Overall, good expereince but I did feel pressured with hasty add-on services. Also, she did not come across as a completely holistic dentist as she did not answer all my pointed questions.
About Hygienist: A very informative session with the hygienist, she was a gentle persona and did a fine job. She also gave me a few tips on teeth cleaning.

Im going to be extremely honest. I have never enjoyed the dentist. My first experience with Doctor Mats changed everything. She is absolutely incredible, and cute too. Her professionalism, courtesy, care and competence in her field has made going to the dentist a pleasure. I strongly recommend anyone who wants great dental work done by someone who cares about her patients as well as the quality of her work to visit Dr. Mats in the downtown Manhattan area.

I used to HATE going to the dentist until Dr. Mats. She is very kind, compassionate and really listens to you. She seems very knowledgeable and most importantly IS SOOOOOO GENTLE!! I practically dozed off when she was filling my cavity - that has never happened before. I highly recommend her.

Dr.Mats is a real magician. She saved my three teeth and with new veneeers I got my social life back. Thank you Doc.
