Since our retirement, my husband and I moved 2.5 hours away from Dr. Anbar. We looked for a good dentist to replace him, which we knew would be near impossible. We came to realize that there is no replacement! So we will drive the torturous 2.5 hours, through Dallas traffic, to have our dental work done by Dr. Anbar! He REALLY cares about us, not just our teeth, and he will care about you. That's his nature! This quality is very hard to find and, when you do, you will drive the distance to experience it again!
About Hygienist: His hygienist is second to none and she mirrors Dr. Anbar's quality very nicely!
I know this doctor: My husband and I and our children have beenDr. Anbar's patients for around 20 years!

Very nice dentist not rushed and very knowledgeable about different options and possibilities. Saved me from having to do a root canal and perfect fit for my crown. Other dentist wanted to do root canal and take all my money Dr Anbar let me know better options and saved me money and pain! Watch out for dishonest dental workers they will take all the insurance money just to do as much work as possible at your distress! Thanks!!

Always very friendly and pleasent staff and that are very honest. I went to Doctor Anbar about 6 years ago for a second opinion after another dentist said I needed over $5000.00 in dental work. He evaluated me and explained the actual work needed to be done, why the other work didn't need to be done and proceeded to do all the needed work for well under a thousand dollars. Dr. Anbar has always been very honest and discusses options and care with me. Most of my care since then, has been maintenance care. I highly recommend Dr Anbar and his staff!

My first (and only) experience at this office was strange from start to finish. Right away when I walked in, I noticed that I was in the minority as being a native English speaker. He used scare tactics and shock value by saying my receding gums were the worst case he’d seen in 17 years or something, and that in 5 years if my gums continue to recede at this rate, I’ll need dentures (I'm only in my 20's right now). They never took any measurements, this was all just based on what he saw. He tried to up-sell some VERY EXPENSIVE cosmetic treatment for this, without explaining any other options. My reason for being there in the first place was just for a cleaning. After doing some X Rays/talking with me for a while, I sat there for about 15-20 minutes while they did a cleaning for another patient, who had arrived after me. They did my treatment after she was done, but I never did get a deep cleaning. They told me about a payment plan for the cosmetic treatment, and stressed that I needed to make another appointment right away to get it done. As I was leaving he asked if I had good credit?! Very strange, stressful and uncomfortable experience, I won't be back.
About Hygienist: Hygienists at this location don't talk much, but were pleasant and not as pushy as the Dr.

I've gone to Dr. Anbar regularly for years, and I refuse to see anyone else. After going through various dentists all my life, I finally found one who is straight forward with what needs to be done, can almost always fit me in to his schedule, and makes it as painless as possible.

I had two successful root canals and crowns done here. I had no insurance so I paid for everything myself. Doctor Anbar was extremely flexible in allowing me to make payments. Later on when I was in Fort Benning , Georgia, the army dentist commented on how well my crowns had been done. Now I'm back in the North Texas area and i would not go to any other dentist.

I am having ongoing treatment with Dr Anbar and cannot be happier,he has given the facts to me straight and is working with me as I get the money to get procedures completed,now how many dentists will let you do that? I am continuing to go back no matter what the cost or pain involved because i know he cares from me to have a great smile!
