He is a great dentist ! friendly and nice. He is our family dentist. In good location (Newport beach area). I'm okay with making the long drive to get there because he knows the best way to take good care of my teeth.

I love this guy!!! Good old fashioned dentistry. He doesn't try to sell you on a bunch of stuff you don't need. I came to him after my other dentist told me I'd have to have all my crowns replaced (the other dentist put them in and they were only ten years old.) Dr. F, replaced one crown and fixed two others. Ten years later, old and new are in my mouth. My son chipped his front tooth. Dr. F constructed a cap about nine years ago. It's still on and looks great. My daughter was acting and lost her front teeth right before a Barbie commercial. He made her a flipper while new teeth came in. He's smart, honest and in my opinion, the best.
About Hygienist: There isn't a hygienist. Dr. F cleans your teeth himself. This isn't a fancy office. There is one room where he works and a waiting room. I've never had to wait.

I originally went to Dr F because he was near my office at the time and other people from my office went to him. When I switched jobs, I switched dds and what a mistake. I tried 3 others, their work fell apart, they hurt me, one facility was not clean.......never had a good experience. I now gladly drive way out of my way to go back to Dr. F. He's honest, he doesn't hurt, his rates are consistent with every other dds so even though it's spendy for those of us without insurance, he's not over charging and he doesn't do unnecessary work which is what all the other dds did to me and ruined my teeth. He just seems like a really sincere person. AND YOU ONLY GET ONE SET OF TEETH so it's worth it to take care of them.

DR Frankenberger has run a very professional and friendly dental office in the same location for over 20 years.
His office is small, but very clean and efficent.
I have know Dr. Frankenberger for over 20 years and have recommended him to numerous friends and neighbors.
His prices are very reasonable as well.
About Hygienist: Dr. Frankenberger does all teeth cleaning himself, which I prefer over having a hygienist perform this service.

Dr Frankenberger is, plain and simple, a great-pain free dentist. He makes this unpleasant neccessity a pleasure. I hated going to the dentist until I went to Dr. Frankenberger back in the mid 80's but he has changed my whole perception and my whole family loves going. Highly recommended.
