I visited Dr Stella Chong's office when she was at 4846 El Camino Real for a simple cleaning..Before i knew it i was being injected many many times until my whole mouth was numb beyond numb.A female named Dr Pham was the one working on me..After she had numbed me she said my teeth were to close together and proceeded to try and pry my teeth apart with a steel flat rod..She broke my tooth, it started bleeding and a bunch of kids came out from the back to help her..I asked her if she broke my tooth but she said no.She then made me a new tooth and still denied she had broke my tooth..I never went back but when i went to a new Dentist and had X-Rays done, it showed i did have a broken tooth.. I think that they were trying to steal my tooth and to this day, i've had problems with this particular tooth.A simple cleaning turned into a nightmare for me..I've looked for this Dr Stella Chong and this is the first time i've found her to still be in practice..Watch out for this Dr Chong as i think she's into nefarious acts of stealing teeth to either sell or i don't know what the hell went on in that office. The receptionist that checked me in saw me leaving, she had a horrified look on her face as she knew i had went in for just a cleaning

I would not recommend anyone to come to her office. She is rude to her office workers. She also recommended a lot of un-necessary procedures. I was shocked by the EOB I received from insurance provider. It seems to me she also made claims on services that were not provided.

Wish I had read these reviews before going to her. I'll chime in as well. She is VERY unethical. She moved my appointments numerous times. I left after I was charged $50.00 for "Oral Hygine Instruction". The instruction was to make sure I brush behind my front teeth. Avoid her at all costs.

Well, at least she's consistent! Good to see I wasn't the only one with a bad experience, and I didn't even get to see her! I went to her office a few years back for my initial visit with this dentist, had a scheduled appointment for a cleaning & check-up, and waited at least 45 minutes for her to see me. I never had my appointment because I needed to be back in time for a meeting & I couldn't bear waiting there any longer. I had to keep asking the receptionist when I was going to get called in. The receptionist was somewhat apologetic, and after the third time I asked, finally offered to re-schedule my appointment after I said I was going to leave. I laughed and said, "No thanks, I think I'll pass!" This dentist clearly had no respect for a patient's time or needs. I wouldn't go back if you paid me. Definitely NOT professional nor sincere. If you have the time to be treated as if your needs as a patient or a person mean no more than a dollar sign to the dentist's bank account, then by all means become her patient. If you want a great all-around experience at the dentist with reliable care and concern by the dentist--GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Good first impressions certainly count for something & bad ones shout volumes!

I also agree that this dentist is not very good. Please do NOT see her. Although she will greet you with a smile, her attitude is quite insincere so you can see right through it. She made a very big deal out of things that my current dentist does not think is serious; I believe she did it to sell more things to me because she kept recommending that I buy expensive products. In addition, she did a filling for me that my current dentist had to fix. She is usually not booked up so if you call you can get an appointment right away, but this is no longer surprising to me.

she is rude to her patients as well as her staff. she was in a middle of working on my teeth and left when her husband arrived to pick their children. Then she started to yell at him and upset the children and him in front of her patients that were in the waiting room and her staff too. this is very unprofessional to me. i wanted to get off the chair and walk out.
