Dr. Fung has been my dentist since grade school. It is my understanding that he no longer has a dental hygienist/cleaning specialist on staff, but regardless, he always takes time to clean his own patients' teeth and does not skip from one patient to the other. The office is never crowded or busy, and he makes sure not to overbook himself. When I had braces with Dr. Ludwig (in El Sobrante), Dr. Fung even took time out of his schedule to set up a lunch appointment with him to discuss my treatment and its progress.
When I went to graduate school on the east coast, I never knew when I could come home. As such, I would call his office, and he would do his best to schedule me in at his convenience; sometimes, he would bring me in the same day, but would have to stay in the office late to see me. Truly, Dr. Fung cares for his patients... Dr. Fung really is a wonderful dentist!!! I really look forward to appointments with him.
(I rate his cost 4 because my parents' dental insurance coverage is great! While his dental office is in an older building, the facilities are great--I would rate them a 4--though it's showing a 3.)
