I went to this dentist years ago and felt compelled to write a review, because he will always stick in my mind as "the dentist who used a tool from someone else's mouth in my mouth."
Not only was his staff really, really pushy about "making that next appointment" (I was only there for a cleaning), but when I was in the chair waiting for the Dr., I heard him say to another patient "you will feel a little numbness." Later, he came to me, and was looking around in my mouth, when I noticed a sweet flavor and asked him "Is your dental tool supposed to taste sweet?" I didn't understand why he ignored me UNTIL MY OWN MOUTH WENT NUMB in the spot where the tool had touched. It was so disgusting I wanted to throw up afterwords.
I never went back, and wish that this service had been available ten years ago. I might have been able to avoid this.
The fact that he completely ignored me and didn't answer any of my questions was very disturbing.

Dr. Melarkey is very good as is his entire staff. My insurance covers all costs so I have no clue if he is expensive, but everyone there is great.
