Read Reviews for Dr. Eugene Spencer
I went to Dr. Spencer after losing my dental insurance for a time and had to have a lot of work done. I never knew a visit to the dentist didn't have to be a painful ordeal until I saw him. He was very personable and his work has held up these 30 years. They even put headphones on me.

Dr Spencer was chosen out of the phone book after we switched dental plans. My daughter was seen by him first (I know, what awful parents! Using our innocent 6 y/o child as a guinea pig!) as she was due for a cleaning. we were unsure about her liking him, as she was pretty shy and he was not a pediatric dentist, but she immediately took to both Dr. Spencer and his staff. We even received some education on the status of her 7 'cavities' that her previous dentist had found; Dr Spencer went over her new x-rays with us and explained that with the exception of a very small cavity on a molar, her teeth were cavity free. (The previous dentist had found 4 cavities on 2 teeth. That number grew to 7 within 3 months). Setting our new insurance up with his office was a snap, and we found out that by using a plan along with our insurance, we could save even more money. My husband was accidentally charged more than his $5 copay when he went in for a cleaning ($54), and we assumed the charge was valid until I went in for the same thing and was charged only $5. Even though several weeks had passed, they were apolgetic and gave us an account credit. We plan on staying with Dr Spencer and have recommended him to friends.
