Dr. Markson did a painful procedure on me and when I told him that I wasn't numb he just laughed and said it takes time BUT HE STARTED DRILLING BEFORE I WAS NUMB. He wouldn't give me something to numb me more because whatever he gave me DIDN'T WORK!! He didn't listen to me when I said it hurt. Right in the middle of the work he left me for 15 minutes to talk to one of his nurses. I could hear him talking so I know he heard me when I called to him but he didn't answer and didn't come to me. Unless you're really wealthy and have money to throw away for painful dentistry don't go to Dr. Markson. He should hire a crew to clean up the place. It's nice in the reception area but once you get back to the dental cubicals it's not clean at all. I'm not from Scottsdale but was there for a short time when my emergency came up. My regular dentist is a pain free dentist. Dr. Markson has a LOT to learn about not hurting his patients and should take classes on how to behave with patients. He'll pay almost no attention to you at all if you see him. But if you're one of his nurses he'll give you lots of attention.

My experience with Dr. Markson was awful. It seems he doesn't know how to admisiter novacaine because I was in extreme pain during a root canal. During the entire procedure he ignored my need for more novacaine because he was busy talking to and laughing with his nurse. Also, the office is not clean, not even the procedure rooms. When I went to pay the bill I was shocked at how expensive it was. I found out that Dr. Markson charges more than 99% of the other dentists in Scottsdale. I will never go to him again and I would warn anyone that wants to use him as their dentist, not to. When I left I asked Dr. Markson for a prescription for the pain and he wouldn't give me one. He said to take Tylonol, which did absolutely nothing to reduce the pain from the root canal he did. The receptionist that I paid was very apologetic for the way I was treated and said she knows his prices are very high. This happened 3 weeks ago and I'm still having problems with my tooth and now have to see another dentist.

dr markson reeked of alcohol when he was working on my teeth and his prices were outragous.He accidently cut my tongue and it was bleeding for hours .I will never return to his office for dental work .He seemed to be more interested in his young female intern then my teeth
