I saw Dr. Zapotec while living in North Austin and was generally pleased with the service that I received. The office is very nice and modern, and the staff was uniformly curteous and helpful. I had my first (and only) root canal performed here and the procedure was practically painless. I was offered a variety of pain management options, and the doctor made sure to check on my comfort several times during the procedure, adjusting the wedges or pressure as necessary. The crown that was made for me did require an extra trip to the office when it came undone about a week after it was installed, and I have always thought that it didn't fit perfectly, but that could be because I have never had another crown to compare it to. Dr. Zapotec designed a treatment plan for early periodontal disease that I was very comfortable with, but was unable to complete before moving to a new area. If I was still anywhere near her office, I would continue to use Dr. Zapotek with no reservations.
