Dr. Flowers is a monster. I am serious about this. She recommended a root canal on a tooth that did not need one and proceeded to drill into my took WITHOUT NOVACAINE because she was annoyed that the FIVE SHOTS of novacaine she used on me didn't work. Her office was disgusting and unclean. The root canal the other doctor in her office gave me was so poorly done I wound up spending several thousand dollars for an orthodontist to fix it. She has caused me unbearable expense and pain. You would be better off doing dentistry on yourself then going to this freak. Please stay away from her.

She does not practice painless dentistry. I went for a tooth extraction and had to cancel it. I went back to the oral surgeon who did a painless tooth extraction last year. I could not use my insurance because he doesn't accept Charter Health. But better to pay cash and have it done right than to use insurance and go through a lot of pain.

I know this doctor: 10 years

I brought my quadriplegic and developmentally disabled brother to Dr. Flowers and was very disappointed with the way the office treated him. Dr. Flowers is one of a handful of Medicaid providers for dentistry in DC. The office staff offered us very little in terms of pleasant conversation and prioritized other patients who arrived much later and did not appear to be in pain. The only positive I can say in this review is that when Dr. Flowers did finally attend to my brother, she was professional. After sitting in his wheelchair for an hour and a half, my brother had yet to even have an x-ray while other patients were being shuffled out the door.

Being a severe phobic, she works with me and understands my needs. The only dentist I can bring myself to go to.
