She is the best! I've had to search high and low from her after she left the Dental Team, but it was worth it - and they were not offering any information about her whereabouts. She is still in east Ft. Lauderdale at 3015 Bayview Drive in a MUCH nicer office! Same great care, pain-free, and makes the appointments so easy with her friendly conversation.

She was magnificent. She fixed a poor job by another dentist, painlessly and perfectly.

Fahey took over for her husband who had made a crown. She greeted me like a pit bull.In a word, she was ferocious - despite the fact that I had been a patient in good standing for years. Her husband and partner made a crown which was not yet properly fitted. He quoted me a price of over $1000.Having had several crowns made by various other dentists over many years, the price of the crown ALWAYS includes fittings necessary to fit the crown properly.Yet every subsequent fitting resulted in a charge for a full office-visit.Therefore,their own substandard work is thus an opportunity to charge more money.Clearly they are motivated by greed rather than quality.Fahey is unique in my 50+ year experience with dental care. Each time I returned, their own testing showed additional adjustments were required. This was no matter of a nagging patient taking up needless time.Had she not adjusted this properly it would have thrown out my bite resulting in tooth loss.Further, Fahey proceeded to angrily "yank" a bite plate out of my mouth, ripping it into pieces. She GLARED at me and dared me to say that SHE was responsible for breaking it!She even balked at a discount for a replacement plate! The plate required fittings due to their changes to the crown.

About Front Desk: The front desk staff was disorganized and outrageous. One woman actually ran after me down the street while screaming at me that I was no longer welcome at Fahey's office when I refused to pay for additional adjustments. She was obviously experienced in her well-practised routine but came across as nothing less than a camp vision out of a John Water's B movie. By the way the office and exam areas are filthy beyond description and the excuse of the 2005 hurricane is quite tired in 2013/14.

I was referred to this dentist by a coworker. Big mistake. The staff was nice, BUT they do not know what they are doing. Spent alot of money and my teeth look worse than before i went in. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT go to this dentist. Waste of time and money.

My work had provided me with dental insurance so I went to Dr. Fahey and Dr. Petrisko at Sunrise Intracoastal Dental for a cleaning and x-rays. I was 99% sure that I shouldn't be charged a co-pay, but when the front desk lady told me I owed $50 then explained why, I paid it. I went home and called my insurance and they verified that I shouldn't have been charged and that the dentist needs to refund me. I called the dentist and the lady told me that my insurance would refund me ? so after going back and forth it took a month and half to get my $50 check. The lady kept telling me that the dentist has to sign the check so I finally just went there and I hear the lady whispering in the back to the dentist and finally she came out with my check (that was dated that same day I came to pick it up). Oh and by the way, you feel like you're in a third world country when you walk inside the building-totally disgusting!! This is not the first time that I've heard them charging a co-pay when they shouldn't have (even a $5 one-it all adds up in the end and goes straight into those pockets of theirs). DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

The dentist and her assistant do not feel compelled to properly fit crowns. When the crown doesn't appear to fit correctly you are told it was ordered based upon the mold so it must fit properly. The problem is with the patient, not the crown. The work performed had to be redone by another dentist. The insurance company agreed, based upon the records provided, that the work had to be redone. But, the insurance company could not get Dr. Fahey to reimburse the money the patient paid so the insurance company would not pay for the work being redone by the second dentist. The insurance company tried to persuade Dr Fahey to settle this, but she refused.
