When i got to the back the nurse came in,, prepped area, Dr gaff then came in and seemed bothered, didn't ask me how i was doing or anything. Then they gave the gas, i started to drift out for a few minutes and then was conscious again, he gave me Novocaine very rough, i could feel him ramming the needle into my gums over and over again. when he attemped to pull my teeth the first one gave him troubles he proceeded to the next tooth and was successful, came back to the first one , well, i could feel everything, wasnt all the way numb, i stated oh sh**t, he then yelled at me telling me they dont use that language,..what am i 2 yrs old ,oops it hurt! told me i dont feel it, its just pressure, and continued again, the worst pain in my life, telling me he doesn't deal with this non sense, a**hole thought i was just out of it..no, i was fully conscious, i started to cry, they stuck gauze in my mouth and sent me away, none of the nurses asked if i was OK, especially the b**tch at the front desk.

About Front Desk: Gail is the front desk receptionist, rude as hell. Asked her if anesthesia was covered through my insurance and she just flat out told me No with-out even checking. Called to double check with my insurance and the confirmed that with 4 extractions i was able to recieve nitrous gas.

About Hygienist: Please i would recommend not to visit this dentist as he will take advantage of you if he thinks he can, just think he was cheap and was mad because i wanted anesthesia

I've been going to Dr. Gaff for several years now. I don't normally write reviews, but I can't believe the negative reviews on here! Dr. Gaff is the best dentist I have ever seen. I used to work for a dental lab, and Dr. Gaff far exceeds any other dentists I've ever been under care with or have dealt with business wise. They are always helpful, Dr. Gaff is extremely knowledgeable and makes things as painless as possible. My dental insurance changed and isn't even part of their plan now, and I still won't go anywhere else.

About Front Desk: Front desk always works with you for scheduling, payments, or anything else. Amazing staff all around.

By far the Worst Dentist I ever had in my life. I had a Crown Installed Dr. J. Gaff, it was way to high so he ground the living heck out of the opposing tooth to allow my other teeth to contact. I was just getting out on my own at the time and not very savvy as to what were/are correct dental practices. What had been a sharp edged molar was then reduced to a rounded stump, going through the hard surface enamel resulted in problems with stumpy tooth. Dentists I visited after thought I had a teeth grinding problem --why else would a good tooth be worn down?. This happened decades ago but I will never forget the butcher!

Worst experience I have ever had in a dental office. I was 6 months pregnant and needed to have tooth pulled. He was so mean and rude and treated me like I was a burden to him. He was insensitive and unprofessional. I was in tears from and pain and yelled at me to stop crying. Dr. Gaff also yelled and at his staff right in front of me. You could tell there was alot of tension in the office. Then today I see a commerical of him advertising his practice, I almost threw up from his superficial commetary on how great he is with people!

I have been very much afraid of dentists all my life. Dr. Gaff has made my treatment very pain and stress free. His southside office is a very nice place to visit and technilogically advanced over the older systems. I have made many recommendations for others to visit, some them have and they have enjoyed their visits as well.

He came up from behind the chair, dropped the back of the chair and started in. When I explained that my broken and infected tooth was not yet relieved enough from the novocaine to begin work, he said We are going to put in more--but then proceeded to work on it anyway. I had to make him stop. He dropped his tools down on the tray-and said"YOU can go to an oral surgeon now"--Why could we not have let the antibiotic work and rescheduled an extraction for some point when I was not in agony?Did he even offer a referral? He is expensive, too-however, on that note-there are truly some WONDERFUL LADIES working in the office ..always helping and caring .How do they do it? THIS DENTIST GETS MY WORST POSSIBLE RATING. HE IS RUDE AND MAKES THINGS WORSE....

About Hygienist: The other people in the office are why this office is still in business.
