They charged me for a full mouth debriedment (type of intensive cleaning ) that they never performed. When I called to ask about it, the office staff assured me that they had performed it, because it was documented on my chart. I told them that the only cleaning the hygienist performed was to remove plaque from my bottom 4 teeth to demonstrate how much plaque I had, it took her 5 minutes to do this, before the dentist saw me. Dr Guerra was very nice and has a good manner, his billing and front desk staff are probably some of the worst people I have ever had to deal with. She hang up the phone on me a couple of times, after I told her that we should come to an agreement on the "full mouth debridment" bill. She just said it will be going to collections if I don't pay the full bill, for a procedure that they never performed.
About Front Desk: Melissa is one of them. Personal manner, is horrible. They never listen to what I had to say, about a procedure they never performed but bill me for it. Plus she hung up on me.

I was a new patient in Dr. Guerra's office 2 days ago, our family had just moved into town and a neighbor told me about Dr. Guerra, she had been going to him for years. I broke an old crown and Dr. Guerra's staff made time for me to be seen later that day. Per Dr. Guerra's advice, my crown needed to be replaced. I left the office that same day with a new permanent crown. I didn't even have to wear a temporary crown,how times have changed. His staff was great, very friendly and professional, I will be bringing my entire family to his office in the future, I highly recommend them.

Doctor was professional and had no pain. Staff otherwise are unfriendly and unprofessional, pray that you do not get Wendy! They do NOT have affordable payment plans like their website says. I have a primary and secondary insurance and was told they would work with me. They were supposed to get me an estimate and when I came in there was no estimate and they wanted me to pay full amount even though i have 2 insurances! They finally let me pay half and now won't reimburse me even though both my insurances have paid the full amount. I don't know if Dr. Guerra is even aware of what this Wendy lady is doing to his business. But she has lost me as a patient. And where did all this money go? I was never reimbursed and now when I call, she hangs up on me. Very fraudulent office. Take caution and stay away from this place!!!

CROWN---needed permanent crown, they messed up molds first time (so had to receive ANOTHER shot of anesthesia), then had pain and tried to call and speak with Dr. Guerra. He would NOT get on phone to discuss. NEVER did. Before procedure, they took my insurance info and said procedure was completely covered by benefits. I asked them to double check as I benefits were soon starting over and it would be fine to wear a temporary crown until then. They (Vanessa) told me I was covered and not to worry. So I had the procedure. Vanessa then told me if I needed a cleaning that was also covered, so I scheduled and had cleaning. Then they told me I needed to have a cavity repaired (SECOND OPINION SHOWED NO PROBLEM WITH THE TOOTH), but thankfully I did not schedule this as I soon felt they were "pushing" business. Four months later, I received a bill for >$1,000. I called to inquire and told them I had specifically asked about benefit verification and Vanessa said that they do not always have time to wait 45 minutes on the phone for the insurance to be verified. So basically they were not honest in the fact they had already verified it but did not care because they wanted business. I still have pain from crown! DO NOT GO!

But seriously, he's an excellent Dentist. I'd Highly Recommend.
If you can get past the sometimes not so great front desk staff, he's totally worth the wait.
The office is very clean and well organized.
Not entirely thrilled with the Hygienist who does the cleanings, I find her work standard, sometimes very rushed, nothing excellent.

Dr Guerra is an amazing Dentist with a gentle touch. A refreshing thing in South Florida, when most Dentist want to sell Dentistry like used cars, Dr Guerra is very conservative and so caring. I would recommend him again and again!

Dr. Perella performed an extraction of a lower front tooth. Digital x-rays illustrated my issues very well, with no waiting. Excellent chairside manner.

Dr. Guerra was the first dentist who made me feel great about going to the dentist! He always seemed to remember the details from my previous visits, and took the time to show he truly cares.He has such a wonderful bed side manner.

Dr. Guerra has a very gentle touch and an eye for perfection. He performs excellent work. He is wonderful with my 5 year old and my son actually looks forward to going to his dental visits. His staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Vincent Guerra as your dentist for the entire family.
