I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Mintz, and have had one pulpectomy and 5 root canals performed by him. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. The procedures aren't bothersome at all, unlike other places I have been where it's been absolute torture! He sings the entire time, off key (lol) which is not only funny but it really takes the edge off while you're sitting there. I do find it to be a little on the expensive side but completely worth it and I will never ever ever go anywhere else to have a procedure like this done again. I would highly recommend. Facilities at the Chicago Heights offfice are much nicer than Dyer, make the appointment there.

I have known Dr. Mintz for several years. Runs an excellent office and his staff is very friendly and accomadating. I feel my procedure went very well. Had some pain after novacaine wore off but that is to be expected at times and was given some medication to take care of the pain. Waiting time is very minimal like under 10 minutes.

My wife had a root canal done at Dr. Mintz office by Dr. Pawlek. Talk about horrible experience. First, as there was a lot of traffic, she ran about 10 minutes late. The receptionist and dentist both reprimanded her like she was a child, VERY unprofessional. Secondly, each time we called them on the phone or were there in person they were quite rude, horrible service. Secondly, the bill was larger than we first expected, and an additional treatment was required beyond what we originally understood needed to be done. Lastly, they constantly hassled us about the bill even though the insurance was to pay the balance of what we paid at the initial visit. Needless to say, there are a lot of dentists out there, and we won't be coming back to this office ever again.
