Dr. Knauer was rude, arrogant and obnoxious. Told me I should get started right away to get all the dental work done that I needed for my mouth because I was going to max out my deductible before the end of the year! What an arrogant jerk! I will never let him touch any of my family members and he only examined my teeth after the cleaning. I was being treated by another dentist at his practice. He is awful!!!

About Front Desk: Front desk was pleasant but nothing special.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: Did not like the hygienist. She was not patient friendly. She was rough, and rushed through the cleaning.

Hygiene time: 15

Well, this is not exactly about Dr. Knauer, but his staffs. They did not ask me the things that I would think they would before doing it, but just did it and of course it was not covered by my insurance. When I called about it, they were really nasty about it, and said it is my responsibility to refuse the treatment...

About Hygienist: I do not have a name for this hygienist, but I never had such a pain during the cleaning, and it was not because I was not taking good care of my teeth.(Because she said it was really clean!)

Facilities are fine. Staff is fine - reception staff would argue with each other, which was kind of unprofessional. Otherwise, acceptable service.

My first appointment was cancelled then had a long wait on my inital visit to the office for a cleaning. Upon checkout, was not happy to see the mandatory $10 "infection control" charge, which the receptionist mistakenly called a co-pay. Of course this charge will not be covered by insurance. Dr. Knauer was actually a nice Dentist, I just have problems with the way the practice is run. Will not be returning to this office.

The waiting room, service, and friendliness has always been average every time I visit. I don't really have anything negative to say about them other than the rediculously long waiting list to get an appointment. Dr. Knauer is a very friendly and personable man to talk with. With him, I have undergone 2 root canals, 2 crowns, and 4 regular visits. He did seem pressured and rushed at times. I really think that their office is taking on way too many patients for the size of the place.

Dentist himself is OK. Not personable. Never real;y comfortable with him, but no real dental problems. Office staff, service and policies are lousy. Bad appointment making policies. Can't make next 6-month appt when at their office for a cleaning. Can only make appt two months ahead of time. They open the books on the first of the months. Everyone floods the phones on this day. If you don't get through right away, your appointment choices are very limited. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Frequently rude. Must be the office manager's problem.
