Dr. Ohira took the time to consult with me prior to beginning treatment. Only after giving me an exam, taking xrays, reviewing them, talking to me about what I wanted, etc did he make a recommendation based on my specific situation. he fixed my smile and gave me a new look at life! excellent!

Dr. Ohira is an excellent dentist. He keeps abreast of all the current dental technologies and is extremely knowledgeable about both cosmetic and general dentistry.
The general dentistry aspect is extremely important - a dentist who is not a good general practioner won't provide you with enough preventative options so that you preserve the long term health of your teeth. Dr. Ohira makes sure he takes care of current concerns, and also stresses the importance of what you should do to keep future problems from happening. He also has a very warm and caring personality, and is a genuinely nice person.
His services don't come cheap! He is probably one of the more higher priced dentists in Hawaii. His staff is professional and nice but not overly warm. The office is clean and comfortable, not too overdone and glitzy.
Dr. Ohira is also very good about making sure your dental experience is as comfortable as is within his power to make it. I would recommend him.

He did bridge for me. The price was nagotiated very well since it went over my insurance limit. Very reasonable.
