Dr Wrobel has been the dentist of our extended family (three generations) for over 20 years. His work is meticulous, technically advanced, and effective. In different cases for both my wife and I, he identified problems and referred us to an oral surgeon who confirmed his diagnosis. Also when we have experienced a sudden problem, he has always found time to squeeze us in. He and his staff have created a warm and friendly environment that goes far beyond simple professional courtesy. There is an emphasis on prevention, and he is supported by an excellent dental hygienist. We recommend Dr Wrobel with no reservations.

A previous dentist was aging and ailing, and not keeping my mouth as healthy as I wished. I switched to Dr Wrobel, partly because I knew him a little when he was a teenager.
He immediately defined a few problems. Some he fixed himself, some he referred out. The results were totally satisfactory. Having moved out of state, I have a new dentist, but I miss Douglas.
About Front Desk: Courteous, efficient, and most friendly. Clearly understands the billing and insurance factors thoroughly I can't remember her name, but she was a petite oriental with winning ways.

We have been long time patients and always received only the BEST treatment from the doctor and his front office, in particular his long time office manager, Faye.
We have referred both family and friends, they have all been quite happy and satisfied there.

I was charged for procedures that I didn't have. Some lady named faye was yelling and swearing at the other employees. when i called she told me she was leaving to do her nails today and the office would be closed early. I couldn't believe what she was saying. she said she was the office manager and she had the last say. my son's excruciating pain would have to wait until we had an opening. I will never refer anyone to this office again!!!!!!!

If there could be a lower score for customer service I would rate it. I have been going to see Dr. Wrobel for a few years now and he seems very focused on his work. So focused that he doesn't pay any attention to the crazy lady at the front desk who is constantly ruining his business. I was double booked numerous times and a couple times my appointment was not even booked. I showed up and she aced like i didnt even schedule my cleaning. I feel sorry for the doctor, this older asian lady at his front desk is constantly talking stink about the other patients as they go in to the back. Hope he gets new staff soon or i'm looking for a new dentist in hawaii kai.

Claimed my kids had cavities when they did not. Charged me and my family for thousands of dollars for cavities that probably didnt need filling. The final straw was a $75 fee for missed appointment. When we went to another dentist in the area I was shocked to learn that none of my 3 kids had any cavities that needed filling where Dr Wrobel said that all 3 kids had cavities that needed filling. He said my son had 19 cavities and filled about 12 of them before I switched dentists, when I switched the other dentist - magically the remaining 5 cavities disapeared. Stay away from this guy unless you like getting drilled.

Cost is high, but he does a really good job, better than any other dentist I''ve ever been to. His receptionists are fantastic too.

Very caring, but more importantly, very accurate and precise. He will do a job right and I appreciate that he is a perfectionist. I have never had any problems from any teeth that he has worked on.
