My family and I have been going to Dr. Todd for 18 years. We had PPO insurance and he was always nice and treated us. I lost my insurance and needed an ER visit with him for a painful tooth. The bill was $400 and he sent it to collections. When I called to make a follow up appt, he told me that because I didn't have insurance, he can no longer see me.
Unbelievable that after 18 years he would do this. I do not recommend going to a money sucking dentist who is so selfish. It is truly disheartening to know he has no morals.
About Front Desk: She is the meanest girl you will meet. She is rude and disrespectful. Not sure why the dentist keeps her around

Dr. Todd is a wonderful, kind, cosmetic dentist. I had an accident that left two of my front teeth broken and he placed veneers that honestly look better than my own teeth! With that said, I would only have him do any further restorative work. They match exact under any light and I have never had any problems. Furthermore, when I am in the office, they rarely make me wait, treat me kindly and care about my comfort level.
His office staff is kind, courteous and prompt with there being a high sense of accountability. I was surprised by what the other person left as a note, because I have never had any issues of that sort EVER! Furthermore, as far as what I have come into contact with in other offices, I cannot say enough about the type of service, care and comfort I received with Dr. Todd.

We went to Gary Todd when we moved into this Area.... he was polite... however my simple procedure of filling cavities was more painful than what I had experienced from other dentists... However, I discounted that notion as personal since my husband's was more gentle and painfree..
After that I got my Crown done at his office, however asked his office to get a pre-estimate.... he had only one person taking care of all the records, managing the phone, billing, etc... and inspite of reminding her 3-4 times over the course of a few months... it took her 2-3 months to send in the pre-estimate... and she messed up our billing with the insurance a number of times... and we had to endure extra long hold-times and unavailable responses when you call...
Except for the pain... (which I still think was little excessive than normal)... the Dr. Gary did a good job on my teeth.
The office equipments are not all mordern unlike in multi-practice group dental offices...
Overall, I would give Dr. Gary Todd 3 out of 4 stars... but his staff a 1or2 out of the 4.

I just moved away from Chicago and miss Dr. Todd a lot. He always asked about my work and my family. The technicians are very nice. He is the best dentist I have ever had and probably will ever have. If you are looking for an amazing dentist, I just can't speak highly enough of him.

Dr. T has been my family dentist since the day I was born and we have always been happy with the work he does. He is very family oriented, and provides a stress free enviorment for everyone. His staff is also very friendly and courteous.
