Dr. Deaver is hands down the best dentist in the city of Chicago. I say this with confidence after having been a patient of his for 6 years, having numerous dental procedures done and referring others who have become long term clients too.
Dr Deaver is an extremely kind, knowledgeable, cutting edge and patient dentist who tries his hardest to ensure a delightful painless experience (whether a simple cleaning or a crown!) each and every time you see him.
As someone with terrible teeth, I don't dread going to the dentist as I know I'm in great hands. Dr. Deaver's office is clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly and diligent in appointment setting and follow up. His dental equipment and office tools are technologically advanced to help make patient interactions simple, painless and efficient.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Deaver. Highly recommend!

Dr. Deaver will do whatever it takes to keep you coming back to bill you and your insurance company. My insurance paid about $10,000 and I paid about the same. He does go out of his way to prevent pain, but the resulting anxiety negates any comfort. His support staff is first rate! His billing agent is the best! The bridges that he installed were improperly fitted and were constantly in need of adjustment. The cosmetic procedures that he performed resulted in 5 abscessed teeth which had to be removed by an oral surgeon I would never recommend anyone to see him.

In short, Dr. Deaver is one of the best!
Here are some of my reasons:
....Over a holiday weekend my son chipped a baby tooth. Dr. Bob returned my call immediately and offer to meet me at his office examine the tooth. Throughout the weekend Dr. Bob called to check on his status.
....Before my children had their first visit to the dentist, he had them come to the office to sit in the exam chair, look at the tools, play with the toys, and pick out a prize from the treasure chest. That visit made them very comfortable for when they had their fist real cleaning and exam.
....I had a minor problem and emailed Dr. Bob late one evening figuring he would get back to me in the morning during business hours. Not Dr. Bob, I had my response within minutes (doesn't he sleep?).
....My wife and I have seen Dr. Bob for almost 20 years now, driving from the western suburbs because he is worth it.

The equipment is old. I felt like the cleaning were rushed. Everytime I went in, the appointment was shorter and shorter. This was not due to my at home habits. I made a switch after 3 years. I am much happier now.

I really recommend Dr. Deaver...like everyone, I have had bad dentist experiences. Whether it be an over the top lecture on "stepping up my flossing" or a hygienist that carelessly poked my gums...BUT THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. they are friendly, laid back, and did a great job cleaning my teeth!!!

Dr. Deaver is the best dentist ever! I have been a patient of his for 10 years. I hadn't been to the dentist in 15 years prior to that and was soooo afraid due to a very bad experience. Dr. Deaver and his staff were so nice, caring, and understanding that they put me at ease. I refuse to go anywhere else. Hands down, Dr. Deaver is the best, and only recommends treatements that you really need, instead of trying to pad his own wallet. I have referred several of my friends, and co-workers and they all love him just as much as I do. An excellent Dentist and one of the the nicest people I know. He also is very careful about his staff and ensures that anyone on his staff is just as caring and kind as he is. Please don't hesitate - go to Dr. Deaver!

I highly recommend Dr. Deaver. I had always been afraid of dentists until a friend recommended Dr. Deaver. He is kind and respectful. He is also really interesting and has a great sense of humor! He explains everything before he does it, tries very hard to cause no pain (almost all procedures with him are pain-free) and prepares you for exactly what is going to happen. He always tries the lowest-cost solution first, and all of my procedures have been successful. He has a wonderful, polite, efficient staff and I feel completely comfortable speaking to Dr. Deaver or the staff about my treatment, insurance issues -- whatever. Can't say enough good things about this group.

Best dentist I've ever met, and has a wonderful caring staff. They are ALWAYS punctual, which I love. Most of my staff now goes to him as well. I highly recommend him.
