I was a customer of Dr. Sood for over a decade. I have sent dozens of new customers to Dr.Sood because I respected him as a dentist and as a professional. Unfortunately I was wrong.
During a routine cleaning, the hygienist got fluoride paste in my eye. Within a short period of time it burned and became swollen. I was forced to go on antibiotics from my doctor. I contacted Dr. Sood to let him know and he asked me to come in put Visine in my eye! Appalling! It turns out he was just looking to get photos of my eye. When I told him it was getting worse he said not to worry and he would send photos to his ophthalmologist friend who would get back to me. I told Dr.Sood that the pain was worse and my doctor recommended if it got worse to go to the ER. Dr. Sood said not to go and to wait a week. I went to the ER only to find out the infection was so bad I could have gone blind! I ended cancelling flights at Christmas and spending the next three weeks at home on painkillers. Dr. Sood promised to reimburse for the bills. I tried contacting him 3 times regarding reimbursement and he refused to reply. I was forced to FedEx them to his office.

First he missed a cavity at my cleaning. Then when I went to get it fixed he stood me up! No one in the office said anything until I asked and once I did they called and he didn't say he'd be there in 10 minutes or anything (at this point he was already 15 minutes late for my appt that I purposely made early so that I could go straight to work), he said he didn't know what time he'd be there! I had to go to work despite the fact that he completely made me feel like his time was more valuable than mine so I left. I had no intension of going back to him; then I get a statement from my insurance company a month later...he billed me anyway!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I would NOT recommend him.

My Daughter is living in Chicago, she called one morning in tears, and needed to see a Dentist ASPA. I went on line and found Dr. Sood. I called his office and they were very kind and fit her in that am. She called after her appointment with great reviews. I now am a patient of Dr. Soods as well.

Dr. Sood is very courteous and professional. I have been going to him for 2 years and have felt that he has higher standards than the average dentist.
One area I was dissapointed with was I had to go for a checkup outside of my 6 month dental insurance checkup and I was charged full gross charges (double what I normally pay with my insurance) even though I was still covered under my insurance plan. I felt this was an error in judgement but I did not raise the issue because I was largerly happy with the service, but it did cost me $144 for a simple checkup without x-rays.

I have been seeing Dr. Sood for over 12 years now. Always pleasant and does work quickly and professionally. He saved me from an unethical dentist who was finding non-existent cavities every time I went. Dr. Sood has taken care of my wife and daughter and done significant dental work for all of us. We all are better off for it.
Highly recommended.

I find Dr Sood and his staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I was referred by someone who referred many, and now so have I! Although not the cheapest, I find the quality of service is worth the cost. Friendly, funny, and informative office.
