After my dentist retired, I needed to find another dentist. Upon the recommendation of a friend I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Tietzer. It proved to be the best thing I had done in a long time. Dr. Tietzer is extremely nice and in my opinion a wonderful dentist.

I went couple times to dr. Tietzer to fix my teeth. I paid cash for everything because i dont have insurance. He, not only removed excessive amount of my teeth but also didnt do it well. i have cavity all over the teeth that he had been working on and i have no money to go back and fix it. Even if i did i would never go back to him. very disappointed...

years ago i had moved to chicago and had not found a dentist i liked. well, i found dr. tietzer. he was gentle caring and genuinely cared about my dental work . he made some crowns for me which i was very happy with and still am which must be obvious since i still proudly call him my dentist. i would recommend dr. tietzer to anyone i knew!! thanks, dr!!
About Hygienist: kathy is the hygienist and a great one at that. she is very skilled in her clinical duties and is just as skilled at making me comfortable when i need her services. very happy with her as my hygienist for the last 15 years!

He has been attending to my dental needs for over 5 years now, and I am very happy with his office and staff.

Failed root canal treatment, covered up his mistake, and then the second opinion said there is no way to save the tooth. Does not talk to a patient enough, solves everything through the secretary, worried about money more than about my tooth.

He is the best dentist I have EVER had.. i used to cry and be terrified about going to a dentist for even the most routine things, but Dr Tietzer is absolutely the greatest! I'm not nearly as scared to go in anymore.

He's great! Excellent customer service, patient, careful, takes his time. And Cathy is hysterical.

Dr. Tietzer is highly qualified and very laid back. He doesn't have an expensively decorated office, he spends on the important stuff. I trust him and like the informal atmosphere there.
