My experience with Dr. Ellen Tkach was extremely unfortunate. I was in friendly relations with the doctor and had made a decision to follow her to the new practice when she was fired from the previous dental office in Vernon Hills IL. Been good friends, I told her, I know you need business, so I will come and bring my daughter as well, since I have insurance Do what I need and charge my insurance. AND she DID just that. I had 3 fills in my teeth still from Russia that was totally fine they were not bothering me, but she insist on taking them out and replacing them with crowns. On the second thought she said lets just do the bridge- be faster, easier and overall (probably more $$ in her pocket from insurance). She had installed post in my gums instead of root canal, which caused terrible infection and lead to my loosing 3 teeth. Today I need implants and more root canal therapy. I would never recommend her to anyone. I would tell people NOT to go to her. She charged my insuranceand I paid $700.00 out of pocket. E. M.

I am writing for a friend who saw Dr. Tkach about ten years ago for full dentures. She has been raving about Dr. Tkach ever since. The dentures were made on the premises by an assistant of Dr. T, and the fit was so perfect that she rarely has to use denture adhesive.
My friend has recently suffered a stroke, and will be having some surgery involving her mouth. She is looking forward to returning to Dr. Tkach for a new set of dentures when her medical problems are resolved.
She is such a satisfied customer that I wanted to make sure her comments appeared on this site.
