Stay away from this guy. After some routine hygenist visits, I lost a tooth and need a bridge. He charged me $4000 for supposedly a "2 hour" visit, then back in two weeks to have the bridge installed. You'd think that for $4000 for 2 hours I'd get this guys full attention, but no. He had at least three other patients in the office and rotated among us. So, my 2 hr appt lasted 3 1/2 hours. The casting of a mold for the top teeth took three painful tries. The cast of the bottom teeth was either not done or lost, they told me later, necessitating a third visit. One of the cords put around my gums and tightened, was "forgotten" and left in my mouth causing me severe pain for several days until it fell out. And the temporary bridge I was given fell out a week before the permanent one was to be installed. Since I was out of the country, I had to spend 7 days with four missing teeth, the area extremely sensitive to heat and cold. And finally, just before installing the final bridge, with me in the chair with my mouth propped open, he insisted on immediate full payment, or he would not install the bridge. A threat and an insult at once. But, the way this guy practices dentistry, he probably has lots of patients who refuse to pay.

I have always been scared to death to go to the dentist, and would not go until I was in pain. Dr. Treinkman is the first dentist that I actually like going to! He has a great manner, is very patient, caring, funny, as is his entire staff. In the seven years I have been going to him, I've had alot of major work done and he always explains what needs to be done, what my options are, and what the cost will be. The equipment in his office is state of the art, and he is up on new techniques and technology. My only complaint would be the cost... but mainly because my insurance does not cover some procedures. I highly recommend him!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Treinkman and while the results were great, his bedside manner was terrible. He was very rude, laughed and talked to his dental assistant during the whole procedure. His work is great, but don't expect much in the way of compassion or easing your concerns.

But losing my job and with no dental insurance.
Iam in great need be to be seen in his office.
But dental cost is very high.
But over all he is a outstanding dentist
