every tooth with the exception of my 2 front teeth have failed. ive and am in the process of having my mouth reworked after years of poor quality of work done by doctor titus. he is one of the nicest guys on the planet, but not a good dentist. im in the process of spending thousands of dollars to restore my mouth. would not recommend him to anyone.

My Experience: Root Canal

Duration: 3 hrs

Called office to make sure that they accepted my insurance and double checked regarding insurance when I was there for me and my 2 children (ages 3 and 5) to receive our cleanings. My dental plan covers cleaning at 100% and I would NEVER see a dentist and pay out of pocket. I received a bill for $375.00 for our cleanings. When I called to ask why I was billed they told me that they were not in my network. When I stated that I was told that they were they basically played the semantics game and said well, yes they accept my insurance but they are not in network. I am fighting the bill through my insurance company. Run, run, run from this dentist.

About Front Desk: It seems like they have high turn over.

About Hygienist: Very unprofessional and negative.

He is adequate, but his receptionist is snippy and very unprofessional. She is unhelpful and scowls at you when you are 3 minutes late, as does the hygienist, though they will make you wait without a word of apology. The office is small and unappealing with bright flourescent lights shining above you and awful decor. Find an overall better office.

Dr. Titus is a very good dentist. He is calm, pleasant, very easy going, and tries hard to avoid pain and stress. He and his staff are clean, efficient, and kind. Dr. Titus gives you info on what he's doing and why and carefully clarifies any questions you may have. I had a few root canals and his work was great. His former hygienist (who passed away) was thorough, kind, and professional. I have not seen his new hygienist yet. His receptionist is nice and very competent. His equipment is up-to-date. The facility itself is a converted house. It makes for a warm welcoming environment. He appears to hire people as competent and gentle as he is. The whole staff will help you in any way they can. I've been a patient for many years now and would leave him only if we move away or he retires.
