Dr. Freeman is the most caring and conscientious dentist anywhere. I have been with him for over 20 years and he has done many procedures for me. He is always very kind and thorough and he explains everything he is doing and why. He gives you options on what can be done and the cost associated with it. He also interprets your insurance options and develops plans that work with your coverage. He is outstanding with older patients. He took care of my elderly mother who had Parkinson's disease, for many years and never once did she experience any pain from a visit to the dentist. I moved out of Skokie many years ago and still come back to Dr. Freeman!
About Hygienist: The hygienists are all very kind and thorough. They do an excellent job on my teeth but also are very conscious of my comfort in the dental chair.

Dr. Freeman is very reasonable in all respects. He takes time to explain in detail what the course of action will be... and the costs involved.

The pros: Dr. Freeman is efficient and his office has fairly convenient hours (open on Saturdays). His staff is also friendly and competent. Any time I have had issues with dental work performed (which really was only once) he was quick to fix it to my satisfaction.
The cons: Billing is a bit outdated, as there have been times we've received hand-written bills. Also I sometimes feel that the equipment is not necessarily the latest and greatest, but I also recognize there is a cost for the latest technology, and by not using it he is able to keep prices reasonable.
Above all, this is "your neighborhood dentist". If you like the personal touch (being greeted by name, etc), convenient hours, and reasonable prices, this office is a good choice.

Dr. Freeman takes the time to explain in detail exactly what the diagnosis and treatment process will be in understandable terms. He never pushes a procedure on you. This is a dentist with whom I have been immensly happy.
