I was sent to him for a root canal. He took an x-ray and after he made a whole in my crown realized that in fact the root canal was done perfectly more than 20 years ago. It was calcification and nothing to be done. He sent me home and billed my insurance $895.00.
What a SHARLATAN!!!
About Front Desk: I called his office, trying to talk to his assistant , Lucy (the one whom my insurance spoke to and she admitted that I was billed "in error"), but she refused to come on the phone and the receptionist was mean and hang-up on me.,

I will no longer fear root canals. Dr. Sherman is the best! He is the only doctor I will ever go to for any future root canals.
