First class. That's the perfect description for The Healthy Smile - Bay Village Dentist. From the very first phone call, you can tell this office is doing things the right way. I felt right at home and had a feeling that everything they did was to make my experience as awesome as possible. Joyce clearly explained my insurance benefits to me. Dr. Edelstein clearly explained my xrays and treatment to me. Tina was very gentle on my gums during my cleaning. I want to send all my friends here and so will you!

About Front Desk: Joyce is the queen of dental insurance and customer service. She's the nicest lady to ever work at a dental office.

I've had crowns done before. A lot of them. I have all metal ones, gold ones, gold ones with porcelain on top, and metal with porcelain on top. They've been in there so long that I couldn't even guess when they were done. When I came in for an exam, I wouldn't have been suprised if Dr. Edelstein had told me all of them needed to be redone and I would have blindly listened to him because he's the doctor. But that's not what happened. He took a look inside my gold-mine of a mouth and told me which ones were still good and only recommeded redoing one crown and watching a few of the others. He explained ot me that even though some porcelain may be missing, the inside metal is still doing its job of protecting the tooth. We went ahead and replaced the one he said needed it. The process was great, no pain even from the anesthetic, and in the end, I got the newest, all porcelain crown that he recommended. Couldn't have had a better experience!

About Front Desk: Joyce. So nice on the phone and wanted to know all about my family. And on top of all of that, a whiz at this dental insurance thing!

About Hygienist: Tina was great. Really respected all the work I have in my mouth while doing the cleaning, and gave me recommendations for products like a water-flosser to help me maintain everything.

I came in to Dr. Edelstein's office in Bay Village after 5 years of never seeing a dentist. What finally brought me back was a severe, keep-me-up-at-night pain on a tooth on the lower right side. I worked up the courage to make the call to an office I always pass on my trips to Subway. When I got there, I was greeted so well by the staff and seated right away because they knew I was in pain. Dr. Edelstein came in and talked with me for a little which helped me calm down. They took an x-ray and found the tooth that causing all the trouble. Dr. Edelstein took the time to explain what was going on, got me ssuupperr numb, and popped the tooth out in a few minutes like he was born to do this. But it didn't stop there. He took the time to stress the importance of getting x-rays of the rest of the teeth and making sure to get things taken care of before anyting else gets this bad. I took his advice and I'm now back to 6 month check ups. So far, so good!

About Front Desk: Joyce is awesome. She called me the next day to make sure I was okay. She took my insurance info and found out EXACTLY what my benefits were and what needed to be done to get them. She is an insurance guru.
