That place is a factory; they do not care about their patients at all, all they care about is making money. I have had two terrible experiences at Hirshberg dental; their operations are flawed to say the least. I was once forced to wait for 20 minutes to get a teeth cleaning. When the hygienist came to get me from the waiting room she explained to me that I was "20 minutes late" and therefore they couldnt accommodate me. I was livid. On another occasion, I actually saw the hygienist for a cleaning and then I waited 15+ minutes to see Dr. Hirshberg. It was then explained to me that he was on the phone with someone and wouldnt be able to see me that day. I walked out and never looked back. I also know several colleagues who have had similar experiences there. If you are looking for another dentist in the area, go to Dr. Budd, he is wonderful.

I have been going to Hirshberg Dental for many years. Saul, the father of James was my dentist before he passed and I thought he was terrific.
James is professional and competent, but his business focus makes one feel that its more about the money than the patient. Staff is freindly enough and helpul, but James is all about getting you to replace old fillings, get crowns, etc...or he's quickly off to the next patient. Costs are on the high side. He has a large practice in Boston and a smaller office in Wellesley.

I was referred to Dr. Hirshberg by co-workers in Boston who insisted that he was he was the only dentist to see. I was looking to improve my smile. He very patiently explained the advantages and disadvanages of various procedures including porcelain veneers. No hard core selling. I went with the veneers and couldn't be happier. I can hardly pass a mirror without pausing to ook at my new teeth...beautiful and natural. No one can believe that they are not real. A realclassy office, clean, friendly, high tech. Seems like everyone in Boston goes there.

Very professional atmosphere. Pricey, but accepts insurance. Diagnosed my wife with a cavity that another dentist said was not there. You spend most of your time with the hygenist; maybe 3 minutes with Dr. Hirshberg. Friendly and knowledgable. Very confident.

I have been going to Hirshberg Dental Associates for over 30 years. I have always been completely satisfied with the work done. I have referred many friends to this practice. Everyone has been very pleased. Dr. Hirshberg is a great dentist.

Based upon my own personal experience with Dr. Hirchberg, I believe that he is perhaps more of a business man than a dentist... I believe that he fails to take into account the full picture of a client's needs, and the quality of his work may suffer as a result.

stated i had cavaties, whichi don't. turns out, the new dentist i go to, five of his new patience have all been LIED to by this dentist/practice. If you go to Hirshburg, ALWAYS get a second, if not third opion before you put your hand in your pocket to pay for any dental cost or before your dental insurance has to pay costs to this dentist.
