Last year, he caused damaged to my tooth which forced me to get a root canal.

I was referred to Dr. by a friend. I had a cavity. He did a very bad job. Before the procedure I didn't have any trouble with the tooth but after my visit, I always have pain. He is not an honest person. After he filled the tooth and was polishing it, he chipped the filling. He asked his assistant to gave him more material and then I knew the tooth was almost done. I asked him why are you using a filling material again and he responded just to put the second coat!(silly answer).The next few days I couldn't eat anything and I went back again. Then he said what was really happened and he removed the filling and did it again. A good doctor will never lie to you and if something goes wrong everyone know that they have to start the filling from the beginning. He is not a good doctor at ALL. He is AWFUL.

I find Dr Kotkin to be kind, and very gentle. His staff is caring and considerate. Also, I find him to be very handsome, which is helpful to distract me when I am anxious about dental treatment. He is a true mensch!!

Dr. Kotkin has been a very easy dentist to visit for the 2 years since I have been his patient. As long as I avoid high traffic times of day Beacon St. is an easy location to reach and his receptionists are sympathetic to occasional late arrivals, he has never kept me waiting for too long. Dr. Kotkin is a fairly personable doctor but perhaps in a little bit too much of a hurry sometimes. I have never had any problems with his treatments either. I have recommended Dr. Kotkin to several friends and will continue to do so in the future.
